Who we are

BPM Detector is part of Zone.net.au, a set of tools built and run by Flying Pictures Laser Show Systems (ABN 81 394 284 413), trading as Flying Pictures. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

What we collect

BPM Detector analyses sound in your browser. In live mode it uses your microphone, but only after your browser asks and you allow it. In file mode it reads an audio file you choose. The audio is analysed on your device, and is not recorded, uploaded or sent to us.

How we use it

We don't use anything from your use of the tool, because we never receive it. Server access logs (below) are used only to run and secure the service.

Standard server logs

Like any web server, ours keeps access logs (IP address, page requested, browser user-agent, timestamp) to run and secure the service. They are rotated automatically.

Cookies and tracking

We don't set any cookies, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

Third parties

• Google Fonts: the page loads its typefaces from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
• Hostinger (India) hosts our servers.
• Cloudflare provides DNS only.
